About Jennifer Judelsohn, LSCW
Jennifer Judelsohn is licensed to practice psychotherapy in Virginia (LCSW), Maryland (LCSW-C) and New York (LCSW-C). She maintains a private practice in which she works with children, adolescents, adults, seniors and families, using a variety of modalities to assist her clients in leading more successful lives.
Jennifer also is a working artist. She exhibits her work in solo and group shows around the United States, and her artwork is in private collections around the world. She supports other artists by curating the “Evolution of Art” series for emerging artists in the greater Washington, D.C., area. Jennifer is also a former board member of Project Create, a nonprofit organization that provides free, professionally taught art classes to at-risk children in Washington, D.C. Currently, Jennifer sits on the Board for Pathway Homes, a non-profit organization that provides non-time-limited housing and services for individuals in northern Virginia with mental illness.
As a nationally and internationally acclaimed educator and speaker, Jennifer presents a variety of programming on spirituality, art, meditation, and numerous other topics.
In 2002, Jennifer published her book Songs of Creation: Meditations on the Sacred Hebrew Alphabet, a collection of meditative drawings of the letters of the Aleph-Bet along with interpretive text for each letter.
Jennifer received a B.A. in 1985 and a J.D. in 1988 from the State University of New York at Buffalo; she received an M.S.W. from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1996.
